At PubHack we’re really proud to be part of the Port 57 co-working studio, which is based in the heart of Southsea on the infamous Albert Road. Surrounded by some of the most creative people and companies in Portsmouth, Port 57 is full of small businesses and freelancers. We operate PubHack from the studio and want to share with you some of the benefits of working there.

Getting out of the house

If like me you find working from home can be a little unproductive, getting out of the house to a regular work space can make all the difference to your work and home life. You’ll be sharing your office space with 15+ other likeminded individuals meaning you don’t have to work alone.

Skill sharing & finding work

Port 57 is a variable hotbed of talent, including web designers, graphic designers, app developers, photographers and film makers. We’ve often collaborated on client projects, helped each other find work, and assisted on projects / advice when you need it.

Growing your business

Having an office space can make all the difference to growing your business; you’ll have an address you can meet clients at, as well as having the opportunity to book the large meeting room that’s available to all Port 57ers.

The social life

We’re a social bunch at Port 57; as well as enjoying chit-chat throughout the day, we’re often throwing socials such as hack evenings, heading to one of the many pubs Albert Road has to offer on a Friday night, attending Portsmouth Freelancers Meet and having the annual knees ups such as the Christmas party.
